Aion 2 Pet Locations
Pet souls drop from ordinary open-world monsters, so the fastest way to grow your collection is to farm a zone where many pet monsters live close together.
Verteron (Elyos) — 106 pets
Verteron is the Elyos home zone and holds the most open-world pet monsters. Asmodians can reach it through Spacetime Rifts.
Altgard (Asmodian) — 45 pets
Altgard is the Asmodian home zone, with its own large group of pet monsters, including several Faded and Drana variants. Elyos can reach it through Spacetime Rifts.
Chaotic Lower Reshanta (Both factions) — 5 pets
Chaotic Lower Reshanta is part of the Abyss, open to both factions. It is home to a handful of Abyss-only pets such as Naga Elite Priest and Silver Blade Rotan.
Best pet farming spots by faction
Because each soul monster drops one soul per kill, the best farm is an area where many different pet monsters live side by side. Elyos start in Verteron, Asmodians in Altgard.

Farming tips
- Grab the first 5 souls of any new pet you meet while questing: the unlock alone adds stats and counts toward collection rewards.
- Pets that only drop in the enemy faction's zone (Verteron for Asmodians, Altgard for Elyos) are easiest to combine with Spacetime Rift runs into the other side of the map.
- Elite monsters inside expeditions drop some pets: clear side elites instead of rushing the final boss.
- Check the Black Cloud Merchant: its rotating stock can sell pets that are slow to farm.
